Activity log
The activity log answers “what happened here?”. Every install, update, rollback, removal and version switch is recorded automatically: what was done, when and where.
Entries
Every entry shows:
- the action — Installed / Updated / Rolled back / Version switched / Deleted;
- the kind — a skill, an MCP server, a subagent or a package;
- the name and the version;
- where to — the AI tool and the path;
- the time.
The Details button unfolds the contents of the operation (every resource of an installed package, for example), and Show diff shows exactly what changed between versions on an update or a rollback.
The filter
The switch at the top narrows the history: All / Skills / MCP / Packages / Subagents. Next to each filter is the number of entries, so you can see where anything happened at all.
What it is for
- “The AI started answering strangely yesterday” — open the log and see what was installed or updated yesterday; rolling back is done from Bindings or the Editor.
- Incident review: the sequence of actions can always be reconstructed.
- Peace of mind: no operation passes without a trace.
Clearing
The Clear log button erases the whole history. The action cannot be undone, so onplate asks for a confirmation.
